How long does the treatment take?

Depending on your choice of therapy, treatments can take from 10 minutes to 4 hours.

Are the IV infusions and shots safe?

Yes, our therapies are administered by a fully trained Registered Nurses and Cannulation Therapists after an extensive review of your observations and health history. Our therapies are developed by pharmacists and NMD Physcians with regular updates and special blends in conjunction with the Pharmacist to meet your needs. We understand that all therapies carry a risk and it is important for you to understand the risks, benefits and alternatives and to receive therapy from certified medical personnel.

Does it hurt?

Many of our clients feel no pain at all. Our trained staff are highly experienced in cannulation and will find the best site for you to have your IV.

Who gives the IV?

We have trained Nursing staff onsite at all times and will care for you and your treatment.

Does everyone end up having a treatment?

Most of our clients can have treatment, we only stop people having treatment if they have a medical condition that may require their GP’s advice, are pregnant or breastfeeding or show signs of intoxication. We value your safety, that is our number one priority.

Are the IV treatments covered by my Health Fund?

Our treatments are not covered by Health Funds at present.

Do you offer Mobile IV Therapy?

What are the benefits of IV Hydration?

IV therapy delivers fluid, vitamins and minerals right to your blood stream, it’s a solution to rehydrate and distribute vitamins directly into your blood stream rather than ingesting them. When you ingest vitamins and nutrients they can be absorbed into your gastrointestinal tract and you need to ingest high doses of vitamins to have the same effect as IV treatment! That could result in upset stomach.

How quickly will I feel the benefits?

As a general rule, the more deficient you are the more immediate effect you will have. Everyone is different, sometimes it can be instantaneous and sometimes you can awaken the next day feeling refreshed and ready to face the day. You may not feel anything at all, though that doesn’t mean you aren’t getting any benefit. IV therapy can flush out your system and achieve balance.

What IV is best for me?

This all depends on what is happening with you and your wellness. Our staff will talk you through the options, we have quite a varied list of hydration IV’s and vitamin IV’s. and minerals.

Who makes the IV contents?

Our IV’s treatments are developed by pharmacists. All ingredients are sourced from reputable Australian pharmaceutical companies with approved facilities. We also use Compounding Pharmacies for specially developed formulas.

Do I need a prescription?

Occassionally ingredients require prescriptions. If your Infusion requires a prescription we will email a form to take to your medical officer for the. required. nutrient.

How long do the vitamin injectables take?

The shots take a few minutes to administer.

How often can I have a treatment?

This depends on your overall health. Some of our clients have treatments once or twice a week and some once a month. It depends on your general health and the treatment you are having. Our staff will talk you through this during your appointment.

Do you have any product for purchase?

No not at this stage

Are your products and services vegan and gluten free?

Yes, all our treatments are.

Can I get more than one treatment at a time?

Yes, you can have a shot and an IV therapy, and oxygen. The ideal recommendation is to have all the treatments together.

How long do the benefits last?

This depends on the individual and their overall health.

What payment methods do you take?

We offer our clients either EFTPOS (all major credit cards), or cash.

Do you have parking onsite?

YES, there is public parking available at the sports Hub and parking under ground with lifts to level 1 where we are situated. Please park in the basement if your treatment is going to take over an hour. At ground level there may be a fine incured if over 1 hour.

Do you have memberships?

No, As registered nurses and abiding by our Australian Nursing Board we are not permitted to have membership group as it does not abide by our code of ethics and code of conduct. However we are able to offer social membership with the Sports Hub with discounts at various times.

How old do you have to be to get an IV treatment?

18 years or over. Also if a parent or Guardian is present and signing to take full responsibility for their childs’ care.This. is also at the registered nurses discretion.

Do you offer Injectables and Fillers?

We offer injections for health but no fillers. We do offer an injection prior to having lip fillers done that may help the healing process.
